A Komodo sailing trip for couples works best on Bombana 2, where the master cabin has a king bed, a bathtub and a balcony from IDR 6,950,000 (≈ USD 426) per person for 3 days and 2 nights. Bombana 1 offers a private cabin from IDR 3,600,000 (≈ USD 221). Two people can also take Bombana 2 whole from IDR 55,750,000 (≈ USD 3,420).
On the open trip you share the boat, the deck and the table with other guests. Book a private cabin, though, and that room is yours alone. The boat holds at most 13 guests on Bombana 2 and 15 on Bombana 1.
On the open trip you're two among up to a dozen others, sharing meals and the sun deck. It suits couples who like company at lunch and their own door at night.
If you'd rather have nobody else aboard, you can take the whole boat for two. The whole-boat price is further down.
It's a small boat and a good cabin. You get three days in the park, with a sunrise climb at one end and a sunset full of bats at the other, if the weather and the animals agree.
Bombana 2 has three cabins for two. The master cabin has a king bed, a bathtub and a balcony at IDR 6,950,000 (≈ USD 426) per person. The Private Cabin with Balcony has a queen bed and a balcony at IDR 5,950,000 (≈ USD 365). The Private Cabin on the main deck has a queen bed at IDR 5,250,000 (≈ USD 322).
Every one has an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and a water heater. The master and balcony cabins list an extra bed, which matters if a third person is joining.
Bombana 1 has a Private Cabin on the main deck at IDR 3,600,000 (≈ USD 221) per person. It has a double bed on the main deck, and an extra bed is available.
All fares are per person, for 3 days and 2 nights. Two people in a private cabin pay twice the figure.

The boat waits off the mangroves until the flying foxes lift out, about 15 minutes after sunset, and you watch the whole thing from the deck as the light goes. In November the sun sets at about 18:01. Numbers vary from evening to evening, and nobody can promise a thick stream.
Day 2 opens at Padar before sunrise. You leave the boat about 65 minutes before first light and climb for 25 to 45 minutes with a head torch. Sunrise falls at about 05:31 in November and 06:18 in July. Cloud can hide it, and we can't promise a clear one.
In the master cabin photographs, the balcony door opens beside a single chair, with a round porthole next to it. One chair, one cup of coffee before the Padar start. We'd take that.
Bombana 2 for two guests costs IDR 55,750,000 (≈ USD 3,420) for 3 days and 2 nights, which is IDR 27,880,000 (≈ USD 1,710) per person. Bombana 1 for two costs IDR 39,000,000 (≈ USD 2,393), or IDR 19,500,000 (≈ USD 1,196) per person.
That buys the boat, meals, snacks, drinks, masks and pickup in the city area. It does not buy a guide or photo documentation, which are quoted separately at any length, and it doesn't cover the park ticket.
For most couples the open trip is the better value. The whole boat is for two people who want the deck, the bow and the table to themselves and don't mind paying for it. Everyone else, start with the open trip.

The calmer, clearer months are April to June and October to November. July and August are windier and the stops are busier. December to March is wet and rough, though mantas are around in those months and in July to September. That is the general pattern for the 3 days, not a promise for your dates.
