Bombana Sailing Komodo
Komodo sailing, 4 days 3 nights: the extra day on the water
Updated 23 October 2026
Komodo sailing for 4 days and 3 nights on Bombana 1 or Bombana 2 is a private charter, from IDR 43,000,000 (≈ USD 2,638) for Bombana 1 and IDR 62,250,000 (≈ USD 3,819) for Bombana 2. It keeps the 3-day stops and adds Gili Lawa, Sebayur, Kanawa and Rangko Cave.
Four days: what you gain
Four days is the same route, stretched. Days 1 and 2 match the open trip stop for stop. After that the printed itinerary changes: day 3 gains Gili Lawa and keeps Siaba and Sebayur, and day 4 is new, with Kanawa Island and Rangko Cave.
You gain four stops and lose the hurry. On the 3-day trip, day 3 is a soft landing that ends around midday. Here it becomes a full day on the water, and the last morning is the one you spend at Kanawa.
This route is a private charter on both boats. The open trip with sailings every Monday & Friday is 3 days and 2 nights only, and we don't sell a 4-day cabin. For the extra day you book Bombana 1 or Bombana 2 whole, and your group sets the pace with the captain.
The first two days, unchanged
The table shows all four days. Days 1 and 2 are the open-trip plan: Kelor, Manjarite and Kalong at sunset, then Padar before sunrise, Pink Beach, Komodo, Taka Makassar and Manta Point.
Nothing on those two days is shortened to make room for the extra stops. Day 2 stays the long one. For the full detail, the 3-day route page goes stop by stop, with the climb times and the ranger walk.
Where the boat spends each night is the weather and the captain's decision that day. Day 2 is also where the Taka Makassar and Manta Point order can swap, because tide and current pick it, not the plan.

Day 3: Gili Lawa, Siaba and Sebayur
Day 3 prints three stops: Gili Lawa Island, Siaba and Sebayur. Meals are breakfast, lunch and dinner, and dinner with free time is printed at Sebayur.
Sebayur is the island with reef and beaches near Flores, and it is between an hour and a half and two hours by boat from Labuan Bajo. Masks are provided on both boats, and the guide sets the time in the water.
It's a long day, but not a hurried one. It comes after the hardest day of the trip, the Padar climb and the dragon walk, and there's no early start to chase.
Day 4: Kanawa Island and Rangko Cave
Day 4 is printed as two stops: Kanawa Island and Rangko Cave. Then the boat returns to Labuan Bajo. Don't book a flight home until we've confirmed the return time with your date.
Kanawa is the easy snorkel: shallow reef, a white sand beach and a mild current, and it sits 1 to 1.5 hours by boat from Labuan Bajo. Day trips come here too, so July and August bring company.
Rangko Cave is the last stop, before the run back to Labuan Bajo.
Rinca is not on this route. The extra days add water, not another dragon walk. The only dragon stop in print is Komodo Island on day 2.
Price for four days, and what it includes
The fare is for the whole boat. Bombana 1 starts at IDR 43,000,000 (≈ USD 2,638) for 1 to 8 guests, and Bombana 2 starts at IDR 62,250,000 (≈ USD 3,819) for 1 to 4. A group of 8 on Bombana 1 pays IDR 43,000,000 (≈ USD 2,638) in total, which is IDR 5,380,000 (≈ USD 330) each.

FAQ
Can I book a single cabin on a 4-day Komodo sailing trip?
No. The 4-day, 3-night route is a private charter, so you book Bombana 1 or Bombana 2 whole. Single cabins and sharing beds are sold on the 3-day, 2-night open trip, which sails every Monday & Friday on both boats. If you want a cabin only, the 3-day route is the one.
Does the 4-day route add a second dragon walk?
No. The only dragon stop in the printed itinerary is Komodo Island on day 2, and that's on every length of trip. Days 3 and 4 add Gili Lawa, Siaba, Sebayur, Kanawa and Rangko Cave, which are water and island stops. Rinca is not on any of the three routes.
How many guests fit on the 4-day charter?
Bombana 1 takes up to 15 guests and Bombana 2 up to 13. Fares step by group size: Bombana 1 is IDR 43,000,000 (≈ USD 2,638) for 1 to 8 and IDR 46,000,000 (≈ USD 2,822) for 9 to 12. Bombana 2 is IDR 66,000,000 (≈ USD 4,049) for 5 to 7 guests.
What does the last morning look like on day 4?
Day 4 prints Kanawa Island, then Rangko Cave, then the return to Labuan Bajo. The weather has the last say on the order. Plan a flight home only after we confirm the return time on your date.
Is the guide included on four days?
No. On a private charter, a guide and photo or video documentation are not included at 2, 3 or 4 days. We quote them on request, in writing. City-area transfers, meals and snorkel masks are in the fare, and park tickets are paid separately.
